Mathematics Department

The Department

Raritan Valley Community College awards two Associate of Science Degrees in Mathematics: one in Mathematics and the other in Computer Science. Both of these A.S. Degrees are transferable to four year institutions. Graduates have transferred to Drew, Rutgers, and Kean as well as hundreds of other colleges/universities across the nation. 
 

The Department of Mathematics supports all other programs and also offers basic skill classes to improve the students ability to study college level courses. The developmental courses include Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra. The credit courses in Mathematics include:
