Notes:
-
This material in this course is covered at a rapid pace.
It is imperative that the homework assignments be done correctly and promptly.
If you fall behind it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to catch
up. If you do not understand a topic or concept, promptly see me
or go to the Math Lab (Room S020) for assistance. Remember, I can
and will meet with you at times other than my scheduled office hours.
-
It is difficult to estimate how much of your time will be required for
this course. Do not be surprised if you find you need to study at
least 10 hours a week (in addition to class time).
-
The primary objective of this course is to prepare you for Calculus.
Master the topics presented and you will have the skills necessary to succeed
in and enjoy Calculus.
